Safety of our drivers
Love Freightways puts safety and lives first, which are our biggest priority when it comes to delivering loads. Our machine learning systems are taking weather forecasts and traffic data into consideration when determining the best routes drivers should take.
We are aware that safety is crucially important in trucking, therefore we are constantly working on improving our drivers’ safety on the road while combining latest technologies and gathering qualified experts in our tracing team.

How do we ensure safety?
Our equipment is always up to date, and our safety team inspects trucks every time they reach our terminals. Also, our drivers are obligated to do a pre-trip truck inspection after every 30 minute stop for a break, fueling or switching of duty. GPS tracking system feeds the real-time data into our network, therefore, in case of any truck issues drivers are navigated to the nearest partner repair shop.
Those repair shops meet our safety protocols, keeping us up to date on all repairs and truck needs, as well as, provide us with the estimated time of issue completion.
Therefore, our truck tracing team is immediately able
to notify the customer about the status of the truck, its current
location and estimated arrival time to the final destination.

Tracing team works 24/7
Keeping trucks safe, means keeping our drivers safe, thus allowing the cargo to reach the receiving facility in the estimated time. Having this in mind, our tracing team ensures that our drivers proceed to the nearest CAT scale in case the load is over 36,000 lbs. heavy. Also, checking the bill of lading, verifying the correct delivery address with the customer in case of any discrepancies, is something that our 24/7 tracing team does regularly. In conclusion, when safety is first, we last!
Electronic Logs create a safer working environment
The electronic logging device (ELD) rule – mandated as a part of MAP-21 – is intended to create a safer working environment for drivers, and make it easier and faster to accurately track, manage, and share records of duty status (RODS) data.
An ELD synchronizes with a vehicle engine to automatically record driving time, for an easier, more accurate hours of service (HOS) recording. This technology solution enables professional truck drivers to easily track HOS, providing benefits for everyone while improving results and customer satisfaction.
Fully Compliant With State Regulations
Love Freightways is committed to always following federal and local state laws and High-Risk Freight Acknowledgment contract, being that we are well aware of the importance of existing regulations for both safety of our drivers and our trucks, as well as the load we are carrying.
We strive to be indulgent when it comes to federal and local state laws, and in that way pose as an example to others.
